In continuous operation since 1952, Butler Motor Speedway has long been the most exciting high banked 3/8ths mile dirt track around. While most notably known for weekly 410 sprint car racing, Butler Motor Speedway also features UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks and Front Wheel Drive racing.
New ownership for 2022!
The 2022 season welcomed new ownership by the Wilber family. Tim Wiber is no stranger to the Butler Motor Speedway facility, racking up hundreds of wins and multiple track championships.
The Wilber family as a whole has made a commitment to bring Butler Motor Speedway back to and beyond its former glory. While “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” repairs and improvements have become a top priority.
We are astounded with the love and support we received last night from all of you wonderful fans. Opening under new ownership for the very first time last night, and being one of the very few tracks racing, we had a crowd of fans and drivers that was absolutely crazy! We are so thankful for you all.
We have received a lot of positive messages and we thank you all for that. It is simply amazing how the racing community can come together to make improvements.
We would like to thank you all for your patience last night. Nearly anyone you saw there had a smile on their face, and that brings a smile to the others around. This is just the beginning, we can not wait to see what else is in store for the track this year.
